Bethel Adventure Club 3-14-2009

Six Members of the Bethel Adventure Club when on a hike on the backside of Cheyenne Mountain on the 14th of March, 2009. The following are some pictures from that hike.

The parking area is located at: N 38 43.8288; W104 54.4834. The trail head is about 1/4 mile further along the road on the right, just where a 10" pipeline is visible just off the road.

Italian Travels

In November 2007 some 40+ Bethel members traveled to Italy for a 10 day tour that encompassed some of the most renowned travel sites in the country. The tour was led by Pastor John and included several worship opportunities and discussion of church history. Below are some pictures from that tour.

Cooking For Fun Club

On August 18th members of the Bethel "Cooking for Fun Club" hosted a "Gourmet Hamburger" cookout at the home of Sarah and Eric Wulfsberg. The club meets about monthly at members' homes to share their cooking acumen and to enjoy each other's company. The members of the club are joined by members of the informal "Eating for Fun Club" (usually spouses and children). If you enjoy cooking please contact any member to join us.

Trailblazers Hike - August 18th 2007

The Trailblazer’s August 18th hike was a Colorado favorite: The Crags. Described as “the perfect place to hike with the dog and the kids, and a great way to wow visiting relatives. It had a little of everything: deep, cool pine forests; a bubbling stream; marshy meadows; peculiar rock formations; an overhang that the kids will forever call “the cave,” and a sweeping view.” The reward at the top is that “only in the Rockies view."

Bethel's 25th Anniversary

Bethel celebrated it's 25th Anniversary and the dedication of the completed renovations and expansions on May 24th.
